About the Program
Primal Martial Arts is not a Day-Care. We offer a structured and constructive After School Program in place of tradtional child-care. Your child will receive instruction in Taekwondo and self-defense basics and have fun doing it. Our program is not only designed to help build strong bodies but also strong minds by improving self-esteem, confidence, focus, respect and discipline. Students enrolled in the After School Program generally excell faster than traditional martial arts students because they receive daily reinforcement in a positive atmosphere.
We will eliminate some of the worry from your workday. You will no longer have to worry about the school calling you at work to ask why your child had not been picked up. We transport the students from their school safely to our facility for an afternoon of fun, learning, and martial arts. We are currently serving Shaw, Larson, Goose-Bay, Our Lady of the Valley and Iditarod Elementries.
Current Special: Sign-up before August 31st, 2010 and receive 50% Off your fist 4 weeks Tuition. That is like 2 weeks of After School Program FREE!

Note From Master McConarty
As a working mom, the design of the After School Program was very important to me. The program needed to be designed in such a way that it allowed for the time to be constructive but yet not daunting. I wanted the students engaged becoming stronger and more self-reliant while having fun. Our method is to focus on a positive reinforcement system that allows us to praise the students openly for their accomplishments, no matter how minor and by having clearly defined rules and boundries so that the student always knows what is expected of them. Combine this with martial arts training and a lot of fun and you have the kind of program that I am proud to have my own children in. We look forward to welcoming your child into the program.
